Welbilt UK Distribution reorganize sales structure

Guildford, United Kingdom - December 12, 2018 - Welbilt, Inc. (NYSE:WBT), a leading global provider of commercial foodservice equipment, today announced that Welbilt UK has realigned of its sales structure, in order to provide an even greater level of service to its many dealers and end users. With a focus on providing better solutions from well-known brands such as Convotherm, Merrychef, Frymaster and Garland, the revised structure will equip the company to be better prepared for exciting new launches in coming years.

Steve HemsilKey changes include the appointment of Alistair Farquhar as Channel Manager for Distribution & Specifications, Paul Patel as the new Convotherm brand champion, while Sales Director, Steve Hemsil will take on further responsibility in overseeing the main touch points with the customer including the Customer Service and Marketing team as well as his existing roles with the culinary and sales team.

Speaking of the new organisational structure, Steve Hemsil, commented:
“By having a single point of responsibility to oversee the key elements of our interaction with the customer within our business, we will see very quickly the areas for improvement and identify where we can increase our penetration in already strong sectors. Alistair, who joined from Ambach last year, will focus on getting Welbilt products specified whilst also supporting and managing the Regional Sales Managers in aiding dealers to win the spec business. Paul, who has been with the business for over 10 years, has a fantastic culinary background and sales knowledge and will be devising strategies focusing specifically on the Convotherm brand to grow sales in a very competitive market.”
